Born in Ukraine in 1996, Marko started his filmmaking journey when he was 14 years old. Marko's father, a lifelong photographer, bought him his first camera and introduced him to the world of filmmaking.
Marko's roots lie in wedding videography, where he learned the fundamentals of run-and-gun shooting, natural and artificial light, camera settings, editing, and sound capturing. For the next 9 years, Marko continued shooting weddings and taking on more freelance gigs.
Throughout this time he filmed numerous weddings, shot and directed music videos (some even winning local festival awards), commercials, social media ads, and real estate projects.
The world of freelance filmmaking is incredibly diverse and being able to navigate this vast ocean of genres is crucial. It is extremely important to be flexible and that means being able to be prepared, but being able to improvise when needed, follow directions, but being able to take matters in your own hands when needed.
Marko does it all. The road is long ahead of him, he keeps his eyes on the prize and tries to take as many people to the top with him as possible.
